Does prayer change God's mind? Or does it change something else?

When we pray, we pray to God, who is both our loving Father and at the same time, a sovereign God who is the creator of all creation. We don’t often think about this, but the implications are huge!

God orders everything according to His purposes. So does prayer change God’s mind? The answer is no. Does prayer change things? Of course. As we pray, we acknowledge our reliance on Him, our weaknesses and his glory.
